Lekhak Duniya is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly and transparently. This policy describes how we handle corrections to published content.

1. Types of Corrections

Minor corrections — Typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, or formatting issues that do not affect the substance of the article. These are corrected silently.
Factual corrections — Errors in facts, figures, names, dates, or other substantive information. These are corrected with a clearly dated correction note added to the article.
Significant corrections — Material errors that substantially affect the article's meaning or conclusions. These receive a prominent correction notice at the top of the article explaining what was changed and why.

2. Correction Notice Format

For factual and significant corrections, we add a notice to the affected article in the format:

Correction (date): This article has been updated to correct [description of error]. The original text stated [original claim]; the correct information is [corrected claim].

3. How to Report an Error

If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us with:

The URL of the article
A description of the alleged error
Supporting evidence or sources if available

We will review all credible correction requests and respond within 5 business days.

4. Retractions

If an article is found to be substantially incorrect and cannot be adequately corrected, we will retract it. A retraction notice will remain at the original URL explaining why the content was removed.

5. Opinion Content

Our corrections policy applies to factual claims in all content types, including opinion pieces. However, we do not "correct" opinions — only the factual assertions within them.
